The Story of Mike Peace (One Peace Band) Mike starred a 3 piece band back in 1964 and has performed in nightclubs, hotels, concert stages, and radio and television appearances. Also to his credit is a lot of recording studio work. He and his band have released 10- 45's, 3-8-track tapes and 2 albums. Some of the engineering on these sessions was done by Mike himself. Using this experience Mike has set out on his own with recorded musical background as part of his accompaniment. When you hear Mike perform you hear him playing all the instruments. Mike records the drums, bass, piano, vocal harmonies etc. on a 4-track recorder, everything except his solo voice and guitar which he plays live in each performance. With all the instruments and voices behind him he sounds like a 5 or 6 man band, maybe more. Some of the instruments you'll hear Mike play are: guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, trumpet, xylophone, piano, organ, Casio keyboard, Astrocade music synthesizer, conduit tubing, bottles, jars, tin cans, bananas, oranges, and boxes. Also, you'll hear an amazing instrument which Mike plays live during his performance. It's called a Guitorgan, a Univox guitar with a Hammond B-3 organ built in. Mike can play the guitar or the built-in organ or both at the same time. Hearing all of this coming from one guy will amaze you all to heck! P.S. He's really good at it.
