Alchemisymmetrical Art "Alchemisymmetrical Art"
By Barry Ellerson.
ARCADIAN 3, no. 3 (Jan. 09, 1981): 39. (Original BASIC Listing)
ARCADIAN 3, no. 6 (Apr. 15, 1981): 63. (Correction)
Archived from tape in Bob Fabris Collection.

Paul Thacker wrote on June 28, 2013, "As for what the program does, it is indeed another art program. It uses the line command to draw patterns which are symmetrical from the center of the screen both left to right and top to bottom. It frequently changes the foreground and background colors, often using a different palette on the left and right side of the screen, split right down the center."

Archived from tape in Bob Fabris Collection.

The "Arcadian" newsletter has no comments or instructions for this program.

Comments from "Sourcebook" (Winter/Spring 1984): "Input X and Y position plus the radius and program draws a circle."

Grandfather Clock "Grandfather Clock"
By Barry Ellerson.
ARCADIAN 3, no. 3 (Jan. 09, 1981): 34. (BASIC Listing)
ARCADIAN 3, no. 5 (Mar. 07, 1981): 51. (Correction)

Comments from "Sourcebook" (Winter/Spring 1984), "Graphically displays a Grandfather Clock which keeps time and sounds out the hours."

This archive version of "Grandfather Clock" has the corrections from ARCADIAN 3, no. 5 (Mar. 07, 1981): 51. On line 15 of Grandfather Clock, the values of @(14) and @(15) should be swapped - it goes bong-bing instead of bing-bong."

On June 29, 2013, Paul Thacker wrote:

"As far as graphics, it draws a grandfather clock, and has a pendulum swinging back and forth every second. It doesn't draw hands on the clock, but instead displays the time at the bottom in digital format. It makes a tick-tock noise as the pendulum swings, and has a short chime every 15 minutes. At the top of the hour, it chimes and then had additional rings to indicate the time.

"When I was growing up, we actually had a clock that chimed like that. Thinking about it now, it seems like it would drive me crazy making noise all day and night. But I guess you get used to it.

"Grandfather Clock" is not B&W. [It is] blue on the left, and yellow on the right.

"[As far as accuracy is concerned (as the program probably uses timing loops for "accuracy"),] it seems pretty good to me. I let it run about 45 minutes and couldn't tell that it was going too fast or slow."

Surf and Cricket Sounds "Surf and Cricket Sounds"
By Barry Ellerson.
ARCADIAN 3, no. 3 (Jan. 09, 1981): 33.
Archived from tape in Bob Fabris Collection.

The Arcadian newsletter has no comments or description of this program.

Comments from "Sourcebook" (Winter/Spring 1984), "Surf and Cricket sounds are produced by this program."

The program displays a menu with two choices. Choice one will make the "Surf Sounds," while the second choice makes the sound of crickets.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"
By Barry Ellerson.
19xx.
Archived from tape in Bob Fabris Collection.

On March 21, 2011, Paul Thacker, the archiver, wrote: "On the back of the Barry Ellerson tape was a previously unknown version of We Wish You A Merry Christmas. While George Moses had done this song, this isn't the same, and isn't of nearly the same quality. I believe this is also by Barry Ellerson, but I can't be certain."
